Paddling Tips
- • Plan for 2-3 hours per 5 miles, accounting for current and stops
- • Bring insect repellent, especially in warmer months
- • Wear sunscreen and a hat for sun protection
- • Pack plenty of water and snacks
- • Consider a dry bag for valuables and electronics
- • Check water levels before your trip - higher is generally better
